Oregon Coast

We spent a week on the Oregon Coast for our summer vacation. We went with Jeff's dad and brother and their family's. We had a blast!! I could definitely handle having the ocean in my backyard. It was gorgeous, but pretty cold and windy! We didn't get to spend a whole lot of time out on the beach, but sure loved looking at it!!! My camera died right when we got here, so thanks to my sister in law, I finally have some pictures to post. Here are a few of us hanging out at the house. Brooks was spoiled and held by everyone and Ali had lots of fun hanging out with the "big girls". Thanks to Cheryl for letting her tag along!!

One of the days we went to the Aquarium there.. it was really neat. Our favorite part was a glass tunnel that had sharks swimming all around... it was crazy to look around and see them everywhere!! Alissa & Brooks loved it!!

We spent a lot of time on Newport's bayfront. There were tons of gift shops, restaruants and candy shops. Here are just a few pics.

Trip to Vale...

We took Jeff's brother back home this weekend and visited with family. It was fun to see everyone. We don't go very often when it's just us visiting! We were there for our nephew Jake's birthday and were glad to celebrate it with him... aside from that, we just hung out and ate lots of food!!! Here are a few pics of the trip...

Road Trip!

Jeff's little sister, Miko, had the WAC championships for indoor track this last weekend in Boise. We went to go watch her and stayed w/ Jeff's cousin, Ian, and his family. We had a really fun weekend and got to see lots of family and friends. Due to Brooks trying to throw my camera down a flight of bleachers, I decided not to get it out very much, so we didn't get the best pictures of the track meet, but we did get some of Ali playing w/ her little cousin Braxton. They are only two months apart and have so much fun! Honestly, it was a much needed break and just REALLY nice to get out of town! So here's ANOTHER slide show... but there were so many pictures that I couldn't choose just a few!

Happy Thanksgiving!!

We went to St. George for Thanksgiving this year. Jen was excited to have Thanksgiving at her house and made a great meal!! It was just a small group of us this year, but it was lots of fun. We really missed Dave and his family! The girls went on the annual morning shopping spree on Friday morning. We left at 4:30 am this year... I wish I would have brought the camera to capture the madness, but my brain is not functioning that early!! We had a great holiday!
