HaPPy HaLLoWeeN!!

The kids had a really fun Halloween this year. We went trick or treating in our neighborhood and then were able to celebrate with Jeff's family. Alissa was excited for Auntie Miko & Todd coming to take her trick or treating and she loved being able to spend some time with Grandma! Brooks couldn't get enough of the candy and home-made doughnuts!! Yum!!

The kids are still coming off of their sugar highs and hopefully will sleep tonight!!

Happy 24th!!

We had a fun 24th filled with good friends, good food, and good fireworks! What more could you ask for, right?! Except for Brooks, poor little guy.. he wanted nothing to do with the fireworks! Maybe he'll like them a little better next year. Thanks Erin & Blake for celebrating with us, we had lots of fun!

Happy Easter!!

Baskets, Easter egg hunts, family, and the best time of year for candy!! It doesn't get much better! The kids were up super late last night coming off their sugar highs and from the looks of things today.... they don't need candy for at least another week!!!! Hope you all had a fun day!

Happy 1st Birthday Brooks!!

Brooks is one years old today! I can't believe how fast this year has flown by. Brooks had a fun day. Grandma and Grandpa came down and we went to lunch and then came home and had a birthday party with family and friends. Brooks didn't know what to think at first, but he sure had fun!!

Brooks wasn't quite sure what to do at first, but anything that involves food he can figure out pretty quick!! He loved it! We are so lucky to have such a fun and happy baby boy!! We love him so much and are blessed to have him in our lives!! Thanks to everyone that made this day so special for him!!

Happy 2008!!

Ok, so I'm a couple days late on New Years!! We went to Oregon for a week to celebrate with Jeff's family! We had lots of fun, but left home in such a hurry that I, of course, forgot my camera!! Alissa and Brooks had a blast with their cousins and we had lots of fun catching up with family and friends. I'm sad that I don't have any pictures to post, but I wanted to wish you all a Happy New Year!! Hope that 2008 is a great year for everyone!! Here's to good health, good friends, and good times!!!

Merry Christmas!!

We had a great Christmas. It was nice to be together and just enjoy the company of family. We were glad to have Grandma & Grandpa come and open presents with us in the morning. We wish that we lived closer to the rest of our family!! It was a really quiet day this year, but fun to be able to enjoy our children and the joy and excitement that they bring into the holiday!! We hope you all are having a great holiday!!

I had to post a picture of the kids in their cute little Christmas outfits!! On Sunday we went to church looking as sharp as ever! Of course, after three hours of being nice it was hard to actually get a really good picture!! Alissa picked her dress out this year.. She told me she looked like a "snow princess". We are so blessed to have such fun and cute kids!!!

All Aboard!!

We took the kids on the Polar Express tonight. It was lots of fun! Alissa was so excited to see Santa and ride the train. She couldn't wait!! When we finally saw Santa she was scared to death of him!! She totally hid from him and dug her face into my sweater!!! (This is the girl that thinks Grandpa is scary!!) Brooks was excited to see Santa... he thought he was pretty funny. We got a recipe from Mrs. Claus for her yummy chocolate chip cookies and got to sing songs, read stories, and laugh with the elves. It was a blast!! Hope you are all having a Happy Holiday!!

Maybe next year?!?

For the last couple years I've been the only Utah fan at the party!! It's been a tough two years! It was a pretty close game and the Y got a couple calls that were pretty questionable... but I'll be a good sport and say... wait til' next year!!!

Happy Thanksgiving!!

We went to St. George for Thanksgiving this year. Jen was excited to have Thanksgiving at her house and made a great meal!! It was just a small group of us this year, but it was lots of fun. We really missed Dave and his family! The girls went on the annual morning shopping spree on Friday morning. We left at 4:30 am this year... I wish I would have brought the camera to capture the madness, but my brain is not functioning that early!! We had a great holiday!

Trick or Treat?!

Happy Halloween!!
We had a really fun day today. We went trick or treating at Grandma's work this morning, went to visit Daddy at work, and then came home to trick or treat some more! Even Daddy dressed up!! Alissa made out like a bandit on Halloween candy this year!! Hope you all had as much fun as we did!!
