Trip with Grandpa!

Jeff had to head out of town for work all last week and my mom was on a business trip too, so my dad and I decided to take a trip to St. George and visit family. The kids were really excited to take a trip with Grandpa and see their cousins. My sister was brave and had me help her bottle some apricot jam... it was seriously my first time ever even attempting to bottle anything.. it was actually really fun!


It's always tons of fun for the kids at Aunt Jen's house. She got an inflatable waterslide/ swimming pool at Costco and we got it out for the kids to play on... they LOVED it!

Thanks for letting us hang out Jen!! So glad that Grandpa wanted to take a trip!! We had lots of fun, but were more than ready for Jeff to be home! The kids definitely missed their Daddy!!

Happy Father's Day!!

We started celebrating a little early, the kids got a little excited and wanted to give Jeff his presents... I figured it was close enough.. I wanted to wish Jeff a Happy Father's Day and tell him thanks for being such an amazing Daddy!! Here are 5 things that the kids love about their Daddy.

1. They love to be tickled and according to Ali.. he IS the tickle monster.

2. He can be talked into giving them a treat any time of day.

3. He can throw them up in the air over and over again.

4. He gives the best hugs and kisses.

5. He is the best daddy in the whole world.

And for so many other reasons, we hope you have a Happy Father's Day! We love you Daddy!!

I also wanted to wish my Dad a Happy Father's Day.. I don't get to tell him often how great he is. He has been through so much in his life and I look up to him in so many ways!! Thanks for being such an amazing example and a wonderful Father! I hope you have a great day!! Love you Dad!

We also wanted to wish Jeff's Dad and step dad a Happy Father's Day! We love you guys so much and are so blessed to have you in our lives. We wish that we could spend more time, but are so glad for the vacations we have been able to take and look forward to many more.. Hope you have a great Father's Day!!

Boondocks

Alissa told us that she would be a really, really good girl today if we could go to the "game place" when daddy got home from work. She was an angel all day long, so we decided to take a trip to Boondocks and finish the night off with some gelato... yum!! We all had lots of fun!

Future Janitor

It's been a crazy few weeks, but I decided it was time for a new post! I was going through my camera and found this picture of Brooks from last week. His favorite thing to do is either make a huge mess for me to clean up or make a huge mess and try to help me clean it up... resulting in an even BIGGER mess... but he sure is cute doing it..

He's got some pretty impressive mopping skills! ;)
