Merry Christmas!!

We had a great Christmas. It was nice to be together and just enjoy the company of family. We were glad to have Grandma & Grandpa come and open presents with us in the morning. We wish that we lived closer to the rest of our family!! It was a really quiet day this year, but fun to be able to enjoy our children and the joy and excitement that they bring into the holiday!! We hope you all are having a great holiday!!

I had to post a picture of the kids in their cute little Christmas outfits!! On Sunday we went to church looking as sharp as ever! Of course, after three hours of being nice it was hard to actually get a really good picture!! Alissa picked her dress out this year.. She told me she looked like a "snow princess". We are so blessed to have such fun and cute kids!!!

Finally!!!

After seven weeks of confinement, Jeff's arm is out of a cast! Yea!! Four more weeks of a removable brace with some rehab and he should be back to normal! For some reason the Dr. wasn't sure if he could trust Jeff with a removable brace. Hmm... wonder why that is? ;)
No more cast!!

All Aboard!!

We took the kids on the Polar Express tonight. It was lots of fun! Alissa was so excited to see Santa and ride the train. She couldn't wait!! When we finally saw Santa she was scared to death of him!! She totally hid from him and dug her face into my sweater!!! (This is the girl that thinks Grandpa is scary!!) Brooks was excited to see Santa... he thought he was pretty funny. We got a recipe from Mrs. Claus for her yummy chocolate chip cookies and got to sing songs, read stories, and laugh with the elves. It was a blast!! Hope you are all having a Happy Holiday!!

Happy Anniversary!!

Today is our 5 year anniversary. Happy Anniversary, Jeff! I can't believe how fast the time flies and how much fun we have had over the years. It's fun to look back and see where we started and where we are at. I wouldn't trade one second of it. I love being married to my best friend! So, here are FIVE things that I love about Jeff.
  • His pick up lines.. "My name is Jeff, but YOU can call me Biff!" haha
  • His innate ability to make me laugh, no matter what kind of a mood I'm in.
  • He is the smartest guy I know.. I bet he could take on Ken Jennings in Jeopardy!! ;)
  • He is such a great Dad! I have even caught him playing dress ups with Alissa. He will watch cartoons with the kids all night and can be talked into buying Ali any treat!
  • He is a total sports fanatic. We have sports center on at least twice a day in between watching games. He has turned me into a huge Atlanta Braves fan, I love college basketball, and the Cowboys will be back... (maybe this year!!) Not to mention I can actually cheer for BYU if they aren't playing Utah, but Boise state is the best! :)

Thanks for being so awesome and for making these last 5 years the greatest! I couldn't ask for a better husband!! You are the BEST! I love you!

Oh Christmas Tree....

On Friday we went to the Festival of Tree's with Grandma & Grandpa. I hadn't been there in years!! Alissa was in awe of all the lights and trees... she loved it! Brooks spent most of our time there sleeping, but he was a good boy! It brought back tons of memories from when I was a little girl... it was lots of fun!

Alissa's Favorite

The tree Alissa picked for Daddy since he couldn't come with us!

Brooks really liked this one!

We took so many pictures I would like to post them all, but I'd be here all day!! Thanks to Grandma and Grandpa for taking us!!
